The death ray of Nikola Tesla.
Death Rays are routine stuff in SciFi books from H.G Wells “War of the Worlds”.
Is Nikola Tesla’s death ray something more than just a cathode beam? I suggest that quantum tunneling could make that system possible.
The system is based on the electromagnetic wormhole. That. The high-energy electron beam forms around it. And maybe that system can be used as the spacecraft accelerators. The idea is that those high-energy electrons can drill the electromagnetic wormhole at the front of the craft.
The tale of the death ray is incredible. I presume that Nikola Tesla’s death ray was the cathode beam. But what made that system operational? How could Tesla maintain the electron beam in its original form? The primary issue with the cathode beam is that all electrons have a negative charge. This means that the electron rays are spread. All over the space. And the second question is how Tesla could make electrons that traveled “faster-than-light”.
“Quantum tunneling allows particles to bypass energy barriers. A new method has been proposed to measure the time it takes for particles to tunnel, which could challenge previous assertions of superluminal tunneling speeds. This method involves using atoms as clocks to detect subtle time differences. Credit: SciTechDaily.com” (ScitechDaily, Breaking Light Speed: The Quantum Tunneling Enigma)
The answer is in quantum tunneling. When the system shoots high-energy electrons to space, those electrons deliver their energy immediately. That makes the bubble around those electrons. When the accelerator shoots lots of electrons in a very short period, the bubble around those electrons has no time to close. This means that the system shoots electrons into the quantum bubble. This causes the situation. There, the electron that comes behind the lead electron travels faster.
At the same time, when that electron beam travels forward, they drill quantum tunnel through the air. Photons and other particles travel faster in that tunnel than outside it. The outside energy tries to push the tunnel in and close it. That means. The edge of the tunnel keeps the electron beam in its form. The energy that those electrons shine. Keeps the tunnel open. If that is true, this means that Tesla created something more exciting than just a death ray. The cathode beam can pull the craft airborne if it can drill a hole in the air.
This causes an interesting idea: What if? Somebody mounts the “Death Ray” machine or particle accelerator at the front of the spacecraft? This system could make the electromagnetic wormhole at the front of the craft. That thing means that this kind of electromagnetic hole will pull the craft into it.
But there are discussions: Did Tesla ever make that thing? There are many versions about that kind of particle weapon. When he introduced the idea of the “Death Ray” in 1939. And he died in 1943. Age of 86.
There are many other people who introduced “death rays”. Some of those systems are lasers. They use the direct photon effect. Some of them are ion systems. There is a possibility. To keep the proton beam in its form by shooting electrons inside it. The electron beam in the hollow proton beam. Keeps those protons in the form. And if that system is spaceborne, it can shoot even antimatter particles, antiprotons, and positrons to the target. By working in the air, the system must drill a hole through the air.
The newest systems use laser-accelerated electrons. As affector. This system can affect through electrons. But. It can transform electrons into positrons if it shoots them through a thin gold layer.
He died about 4 years later. So maybe Tesla’s original idea was something else. But today, maybe that system could be possible. We can make ion cannons. They use lasers, phonons, and high-energy particles to make a hole in the air. Those systems may be more advanced. Than anything. That Tesla ever could have made.
