So, are you a Bolzmann brain?
This is writing about the thought experiment.
“We trust our memories because they feel natural, and we trust time because it seems to flow in only one direction. Physics, however, allows for stranger possibilities that challenge this intuition. Physicists Take a New Look at the Boltzmann Brain Paradox). But things like EM fields around brains. Can interact with the neural tracks.
Are you brain or consciousness, part of a larger consciousness? That is one of the biggest questions that we face in the world. In the late 19th century, Austrian scientist Ludwig Boltzmann tried to answer that question. He made a thought experiment called Boltzmann Brain. Things. Like the intelligent universe and simulated reality (Called the simulation hypothesis) theories. They are based on the idea of the Boltzmann Brain.
This explains human life as a simulation of a Boltzmann Brain. Invented for fun. So we would be the sub-creatures in the mind. That formed spontaneously. The matrioshka model is sometimes connected with the Bolzmann Brain. That is the reality that a creature sees that is formed. Because of multiple internal realities that form in the Boltzmann Brain. That is a modified version of the simulation hypothesis. The reality forms in the mind of some other, larger creature. This thing is a modified version of the matrioshka brain. The hypothetical intelligent megastructure. In the modified version, the matrioshka brain could be multiple internal wave fields.
In its original version. “A matrioshka brain is a hypothetical megastructure of immense computational capacity powered by a Dyson sphere. It was proposed in 1997 by Robert J. Bradbury (1956–2011). It is an example of a class-B stellar engine. Employing the entire energy output of a star to drive computer systems. This concept derives its name from the nesting Russian matryoshka dolls. The concept was deployed by Bradbury in the anthology Year Million: Science at the Far Edge of Knowledge.” (Wikipedia, Matrioshka brain)
But as I just wrote, the matrioshka brain could be the virtual form in wave movement. It can be multiple internal wave field structures. The fact is that: Hypothetically. Things like holograms can form similar structures with human brains. And information travels between superpositioned and entangled photon pairs.
“A Boltzmann brain is a hypothetical conscious observer that spontaneously pops into existence from random fluctuations in the fabric of the universe, complete with false memories and perceptions of a world that never actually existed”. (Scienceinsights, What Is a Boltzmann Brain and Why Is It a Paradox?).
This means that. Boltzmann Brain is a structure that can form in the interaction of quantum fields.
But one of the paradoxes. It Is this. If we are only conscious creatures that hover in some kind of EM field. That means we should not. Have the ability to process information. The brain requires something that brings information into it. So if we were the only creatures with consciousness. We need some motive. And new information for developing models.
In that model. Brains, or a structure. That which can process information can exchange data with other creatures. In some models, the Boltzmann Brain is the intelligent structure that can surround everything. And that means the universe could also be this Boltzmann Brain. But if we are a Boltzmann brain, who made our first memories? What made the first abstract creature in our mind? If we are the only intelligent creatures, we must ask: where are those memories coming from? Even in the case of a Boltzmann Brain, the brain needs information. That it processes.
“The Boltzmann brain thought experiment suggests that it is probably more likely for a brain to spontaneously form, complete with a memory of having existed in our universe, rather than for the entire universe to come about in the manner cosmologists think it actually did. Physicists use the Boltzmann brain thought experiment as a reductio ad absurdum argument for evaluating competing scientific theories.” (Wikipedia, Boltzmann Brain)
So, that means that in the universe can form intelligent, conscious structures, that can exist from milliseconds to eternity. The Boltzmann brain means. That. Those intelligent structures that can form in wave movement, or in molecular wave interaction. So if our brains are in the middle of the “intelligent wave movement”, that wave movement. It can interact with our brains. In this text, the “brain”. Means a structure that has consciousness and the ability to process information. This means. Brains can be a physical structure. But it can be structured in wave movement.
There is also a possibility. Those standing waves. They can form a structure. That looks like a quantum, or binary computer. The virtual particles in a hologram. They can act like a microprocessor. Information travels between those bubbles in the supersprings. And if standing waves are in a certain position, those things can start to exchange information. The Boltzmann brain is an intelligent structure. That can process data. That thing can exchange information between physical and virtual intelligent structures.
Theoretically, every type of wave movement can form a structure that acts like a computer or a brain. In this model. The universe is a huge number of internal consciousnesses. And everything. What we remember is a projection that the larger consciousness forms. The idea is that. A lower-energy consciousness can project its thoughts into the lower-energy consciousness. This means that the size of those consciousnesses means nothing. The only thing that means something in those processes is the energy level.
So, when we think about the question, are we a Boltzmann Brain, we must say that we are not sure. The higher-energy structure in the giant field that forms the Boltzmann Brain. That thing means that everything that we remember is the projection from the larger mind. This means that we would be the only intelligent structure in the universe. And this means that the memories that we have are formed.
Because of our imagination. But then we go to the second step. We can ask. If everything that we see is only a projection from the Boltzmann Brain. Is it possible that in our brain forms the subconsciousness? This means that. In our brains, a short-term consciousness that operates independently could form. In our brains. Those structures could be very short-term.
